uh... i wasn't able to post a new blog last night, we had to shut down the main switch for the reason that the outlet in the dirty kitchen had sparks and all... and it might get short circuited or something, and that might cause fire. so we were the only house in town who had no lights on. self imposed blackout. hahaha.
there. hmm. yesterday was the feast of the black nazarene, gawd, it's already 400 years old. its establishment to filipino faith is so profound, and i've seen it evidently with the crowd that flocked during the procession from the quirino grandstand to quiapo. it gave me goosebumps. faith, the only thing that keeps these people united. faith.
gawd. i was on my way to school from the bus stop at dasmarinas when i got stuck for a bit in traffic, just a few meters away from the bus stop. i thought it was traffic because the town at dasmarinas was celebrating the feast of the black nazarene. but then i saw shattered pieces of windshield, pieces of some tricycle parts, a car with a big dent on the side of the road, police, traffic enforcers... and a dead body... on the middle of the highway, bloody and all. i just uttered, "oh my god!" then i looked away from the corpse, half teary eyed.
gawd. that was horrible. i don't like seeing dead bodies because of mishaps. i don't like seeing dead bodies on the side or in the middle of the road. gawd.
i just prayed for that poor man's soul, that he may find eternal peace.
hay. life nga naman.
i went to downtown manila in the later part of the day, after my class. i was with a friend. that was the only time that i appreciated that place, sta. cruz. how i wish i brought a camera with me.
