gawd!!! i so missed our electricity!!! gawd... it has been five (5) days since we lost our electricity. now it's back!!! and i'm uber excited to charge my phones, use my computer (winamp!!!), my radio, cd player, blower, electric fan, toaster, refridgerator, our cold water dispenser, iron, rice cooker, specially our teevee!!!
i've never been so atat to use our rice cooker, computer, and radio when i found out that we got our electricity back. i thought that i was gonna go nuts just waiting for the power to be restored, and fuck i've never really been this excited to use our appliances! hay...
i thought i was gonna survive for the first two (2) days that the black out went. but after being so bored with the life without having any power supply, i was really gonna go crazy. i kept on telling my brother that we're living a jurassic life. there's no electricity. i can't do a thing, i just slept the whole day, (and boy did my head hurt from over sleeping, uh, is there such a thing as over sleeping? hehe). i can't eat a lot because it's gonna ruin my diet... thank god there's water to drink and to use for our everyday washing and bathing. hahaha. like we've got this deep well in our dirty kitchen and we make igib water from there. our cousins were goin to our house just to take a bath because they've go no water. hahaha. that was really funny, and that was such a workout. hehe.
on the third day (full of good things). good thing my mom planned for us to go to the mall that saturday afternoon, or else we'll be bored to death just staring at nothing. gawd. like the lines at the atm was sooooo long! good thing my dad and my mom brought their plastic money with them, and i so wanna have that eps that my mom have. it's like an atm thingie but you can use it to pay for your bills at shops and restos. kewl. i've been longing for that since i cashed out all my money from my former atm card. hehehe.
i was so envious that some of the cities at the metro have electricity, while we on the other hand still suffer from darkness and constant bumping on things here at home. hehe. lucky you...
monday. i woke up late... (i over slept again) then my mom told me to pay our bill at meralco. gawd. funny, we have to pay still yet our electricity was out. and it took them what, five (5) fuckin days to have it restored. man they were slow. and so i drank all my soymilk, proceeded to my room and fixed myself. while i was waiting for my mom to be ready, i was listening to kelly at magic. she said that it was armageddon, and that it was really hard to live without water and electricity (i second emotion to that, totally). hahaha. armageddon indeed.
i was there at the meralco office here at tagaytay when i overheard some of the people there sayin that the power would be restored on or before sunday, and that napocor was off. i thought, fuck, if that happens, i might be forced to go on a sleepover at my friend's house. because i'd really be bored and demented if that happens. i was sitting there at the line, waiting for my turn, when one of the cashiers got interrupted. one of the customers asked why the power was still off, the cashier said that the line won't be fixed because they lack some equipment or some kind of vehicle to fix it, then the cashier chuckled. i mean, come on, five (5) days?! without power/electricity? then they'd just laugh about it? gawd. it made me a bit pissed. it was no joke having no power for five (5) fuckin days. but good thing the power got restored that evening. hahaha.

finally, my jurassic days are over.
hay. i never thought that flicking the light switches on and off all day long could be so damn frustrating... i was flickin on it like for the nth time and i guess i left my light switch at my room on that i got surprised and really excited when the power got restored. i was in the middle of flippin the pages of my magazines when my room lit up. then i got so excited to put my radio on, and charge my phone. hahaha. i was gonna send some sms to some of my friends, but still the signals are off. hay... but still, i am thankful that the power was back. hmm... water and electricity, such little things that we take for granted make us suffer if they were not available.
