I've been single for months now, and i've been waiting for that special someone who would lift me off my curse of being single. Whenever i get acquainted with people, they always ask me what my status is and i'll say right away that i'm single, then they'd ask me why am i still single...
Maybe i'm being too picky now after my failed relationship months ago. But this really didn't fuel up my 'search' for that special someone. As from what i've learned from my experience on having a relationship, i've realized that LOVE isn't really something that you long for like a necessity or a vice. It is something that you patiently wait for. It is not anticipated, forced, or created in just minutes. Love takes time to develop and flourish to a full time relationship (this, assuming that you know what the meaning of a real relationship is.)
Speaking of relationships and all that shebang...
...after asking me why i'm still single, there entails a question, "what do you look for in a man/relationship?" This resulted to days of thinking and summations of what qualities i really want in a guy or in a relationship.
I'd really like it if a guy is intellectual, has a reasonable sense of humor, talks with sense, open-minded, articulate, and opinionated. I'd like someone who's a bit cerebral and not being too anal about things. I'm really interested with guys who has brains. Who talks with sense in a conversation or any heated argument we'd encounter. Why would you settle yourself with someone who hasn't got any brains, knows nothing but talk shit? Yeah, i like someone who's articulate and opinionated, to the point that i'd be left dumbfounded by what he has said but end up learning a lot from him.
I also like someone who's sensitive, than be with someone who has a cold heart and leave you hurting in the end. Sincere and nice people, they're the people that i'd like to stick with. Because they are serious with whatever they pursue.
With regards to looks, i'd rather have someone who's presentable and not necessarily good looking. I am an artist, so expect me to appreciate all the beauty around me, i have an open mind. I am not judgmental of how people look like. Everyone is unique, everyone is beautiful. It is within us whether we want to see the beauty in them.
Lastly, i know that sex is an integral part of a relationship, that is why i'd really appreciate it if my partner would be versatile in bed. Because being with just plain tops and bottoms are boring. But I don't really like it if that man would be much into sex and nothing else, our relationship would be pathetic if that so happens. I'd be sexed up and be loved just for sex, and I hate that. I mean, we can have sex but not that often. Sex is sacred, it is not to be toyed at.

I know that it is hypothetical if i'd find all these in just one guy. Maybe presenting two or three of these "requirements" would do. ;)
